Buy It From China  - New Product Development

Our Experience:
We have had new products made in China for customers since 1988, some
of which were patented or trademarked. We work with most products made
from metal, plastic, wood, stone, glass, nylon or leather. Sorry, We do not
source jewelry, textiles or chemicals.

We are not beholden to any one factory which leaves us free to find the right
manufacturer for your product. This means you won't be pushed to use a
factory that may not be right for the job.

Quality control is the first consideration when choosing a factory. A good
price is meaningless if the Quality is not good.

Sourcing product that is made from multiple processes or materials is not a
problem. Parts from different factories are sent to one location for final
assembly.

All assembly and packaging can be done; products are packaged to your
specifications.

Going from concept to production and successfully marketing a new product
is a process that requires that you take several critical steps before we can
quote your product:

1. The product must be engineered, prototyped and tested to insure that it
performs as needed. Not prototyping your product is a costly mistake that
can result in a shipment of defective parts. The prototyping process can also
save you money by exposing ideas on how the product might be made at a
lower cost.

2. If there might be any patent or trademark infringement issues you will
need to perform a patent search and/or consult a patent attorney. We do not
perform patent or trademark searches; we will not knowingly source a
product that would infringe on another company's patents or trademarks.

3. After you have made a fully functioning prototype you should have shown it
to as many of your customers as possible, asking them if they will buy the
product. True market research is asking your customers if they will pay you
for your product; market research isn't coming up with an idea that you think
will sell and then going for it.  (It's what your customers want to buy that
counts, not what you want to sell.) From doing this you should be able to
asses whether you should proceed in getting the product made and what
quantities to buy.

4. After you've prototyped your product and done the right market research
you should have engineer's prints created and/or a final version of the
prototype made. We need a prototype that represents the product exactly as
you want to buy it or a complete set of prints in order to quote the product.
We cannot be responsible for returning any prints or samples.

5. You must have the financing in place to purchase the inventory; our
minimum order value is $15,000.00.

If you are setting up a new company you should have made a business
plan. Your business plan will help you understand the total costs involved in
setting up a new business so that you can acquire enough capital to insure
that your new company will make it over the long haul. Lack of planning and
insufficient capital are 2 of the biggest reasons why new businesses fail.

What you need to give to us to submit a quote:
1. Prototype and/or engineer's drawings.
2. Purchase quantities per part.
3. The major city closest to you so that we can provide a quote with the
freight included.
